MPD Commander

"Music Player Daemon (MPD) allows remote access for playing music (MP3's, Ogg Vorbis files, and Flac's) and managing playlists. MPD is designed for integrating a computer into a stereo system that provides control for music playback over a local network. It is also makes a great desktop music player, especially if your a console junkie, like frontend options, or restart X often." more

We have a big MP3 server that is connected to an audio system, the server plays music using MPD. We have designed a controlling application that looks and feels mostly like Winamp but manages MPD over a network connection.
